1 dollar Korean War.This commemorative silver dollar was made 1991-P to commemorate the 38th anniversary of the Korean War. The number "38" makes sense because this war was fought over the geographic latitude of the 38th parallel. This collectible coin was minted in Philadelphia and is a proof version. The obverse depicts a soldier advancing up a hill with aircraft above him. The reverse shows a map of the Korean Peninsula with an eagle's head on the right.
