LUDOVIC VALLEE

( 1864 - 1939 )

An outstanding large signed oil on canvas by Ludovic Vallee depicting elegant figures taking an afternoon stroll in the Jardin des Tuileries in Paris. The work is superbly painted and on its original canvas and signed lower left - unlined and unrestored. From a private french collection.

Condition: Very good original condition

Ludovic Vallée exhibited at the Salon des Indépendants in Paris from 1903, the Salon de la Sociéte Nationale and the Salon des Tuileries. He executed a number of canvases after Signac.
